This statement records our intended standard, current design practices and process for addressing barriers before and after launch.<\/div>\n  <p class=\"way-access-meta\"><strong>Draft effective date:<\/strong> September 17, 2026<\/p>\n\n  <section class=\"way-access-section\">\n   <h2>1. Our Commitment<\/h2>\n   <p>The Way Institute of Christian Educational Leadership wants learners, visitors, educators and ministry partners to access its information and learning opportunities with dignity and as much independence as reasonably possible. Accessibility will be treated as an ongoing responsibility rather than a one-time technical exercise.<\/p>\n  <\/section>\n\n  <section class=\"way-access-section\">\n   <h2>2. Accessibility Standard<\/h2>\n   <p>The Institute intends to use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as its primary reference for the public website and learner-facing digital content. WCAG organizes accessibility around content that is perceivable, operable, understandable and robust.<\/p>\n   <p>This goal does not constitute a conformance claim. Formal testing, remediation and documentation must occur before any conformance statement is published.<\/p>\n  <\/section>\n\n  <section class=\"way-access-section\">\n   <h2>3. Current Design Priorities<\/h2>\n   <div class=\"way-access-card\">\n    <div><strong>Readable content<\/strong><span>Clear headings, meaningful labels, sufficient spacing and legible typography.<\/span><\/div>\n    <div><strong>Keyboard access<\/strong><span>Navigation and interactive controls that can be reached and operated without a mouse.<\/span><\/div>\n    <div><strong>Visual clarity<\/strong><span>Strong color contrast and information that does not rely on color alone.<\/span><\/div>\n    <div><strong>Alternative formats<\/strong><span>Text alternatives, transcripts or comparable support for important visual and recorded content when available.<\/span><\/div>\n    <div><strong>Responsive layouts<\/strong><span>Pages designed to reflow across phones, tablets and desktop screens.<\/span><\/div>\n    <div><strong>Understandable interaction<\/strong><span>Consistent navigation, clear instructions and helpful error information.<\/span><\/div>\n   <\/div>\n  <\/section>\n\n  <section class=\"way-access-section\">\n   <h2>4. Learning Materials and Media<\/h2>\n   <p>Course creators should consider accessible document structure, descriptive link text, image alternatives, readable PDFs, captions or transcripts for instructional video, and sufficient time for learning activities. Where a resource cannot immediately be made fully accessible, the Institute should work with the learner to provide a reasonable alternative.<\/p>\n  <\/section>\n\n  <section class=\"way-access-section\">\n   <h2>5. Accommodation Requests<\/h2>\n   <p>Learners should be able to request reasonable adjustments or an alternative format without being treated unfairly. Requests will be considered in relation to the learning objective, the learner\u2019s needs, available technology and the Institute\u2019s practical capacity.<\/p>\n   <p>Examples may include additional time, alternative document formats, captioned material, flexible participation methods or another accessible way to demonstrate learning.<\/p>\n  <\/section>\n\n  <section class=\"way-access-section\">\n   <h2>6. Third-Party Platforms<\/h2>\n   <p>Parts of the learning experience may depend on WordPress, LearnDash, video providers, payment services, booksellers or other third-party platforms. The Institute cannot control every aspect of those services, but should identify barriers, select accessible configurations where possible and help learners find an alternative route when a third-party feature creates a serious obstacle.<\/p>\n  <\/section>\n\n  <section class=\"way-access-section\">\n   <h2>7. Known Limitations During Development<\/h2>\n   <p>The website and LMS are still under construction. Course media, downloadable documents, authentication screens and third-party integrations have not yet completed comprehensive automated and human accessibility testing. These areas should be reviewed before public launch and reassessed as content is added.<\/p>\n  <\/section>\n\n  <section class=\"way-access-section\">\n   <h2>8. Reporting an Accessibility Barrier<\/h2>\n   <p>If you cannot access content, complete a task or use a feature, please describe the page or resource, what you were trying to do, the device or assistive technology involved if you are comfortable sharing it, and the alternative format or assistance that would help.<\/p>\n   <p>Use the <a href=\"\/ht\/contact\/\">Contact page<\/a> or email <a href=\"mailto:info@thewaybibleinstitute.com\">info@thewaybibleinstitute.com<\/a> once email service is fully operational. Accessibility requests should be acknowledged and addressed as promptly as reasonably possible.<\/p>\n  <\/section>\n\n  <section class=\"way-access-section\">\n   <h2>9. Review and Improvement<\/h2>\n   <p>Before launch, the Institute should complete keyboard, focus, contrast, zoom, responsive-layout, heading, link, form-label and screen-reader checks on representative pages and learner workflows. This statement should then be updated with the testing date, evaluated scope, known exceptions and planned remediation.<\/p>\n  <\/section>\n\n  <section class=\"way-access-section\">\n   <h2>10.
