Depending on how you use the website and learning platform, we may collect:

• Contact information such as your name and email address.
• Account and profile information used to provide access to learning services.
• Course enrollment, lesson progress, assessment results, structured responses and certificate records.
• Messages, inquiries, partnership requests and program-interest information you send to us.
• Basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, login activity and security logs.
• Transaction or order information when paid services become available. Payment-card information may be handled by an external payment provider rather than stored by the Institute.

We may use personal information to operate the website; create and manage learner accounts; deliver courses and resources; track progress; administer assessments and certificates; respond to inquiries; support church or educational partnerships; maintain security; improve our services; meet recordkeeping obligations; and send requested program updates. Marketing communications will include a reasonable way to opt out.

4. Learners under the age of majority

Some Institute resources may serve school-aged learners. Where appropriate, participation by a minor should be authorized or arranged by a parent, guardian, school, church or other responsible organization. We aim to collect only the information reasonably needed to provide and safeguard the learning experience. Parents or guardians may contact us with questions about a young learner’s information.

5. Cookies and login technology

WordPress and the learning platform may use cookies needed for account login, security, session continuity, preferences and site operation. A temporary cookie may be used to check whether a browser accepts cookies. Login cookies may remember a user for the period selected at sign-in. 6. Learning records

When a learner uses LearnDash or another Institute learning service, we may retain enrollment information, course progress, assessment records and certificate history so we can deliver the program, document completion, provide support and maintain accurate educational records.

7. External services and links

The website is hosted through Hostinger and uses WordPress, LearnDash and supporting plugins. We may also use email, media, analytics, payment or security providers. Links to Amazon, The Way’s book website, social platforms or other external services take you to sites governed by their own privacy practices. Embedded media may allow the originating service to receive technical information about the visit.

8. When information may be shared

We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared with service providers that help us host, secure, communicate, process payments or deliver learning services; with a sponsoring church, school or organization when participation is properly arranged through that organization; when you direct or authorize us to share it; or when disclosure is reasonably required by law, safety, fraud prevention or the protection of rights.

9. International processing

Some technology providers may process or store information outside The Bahamas. When using such providers, we will seek reasonable safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and the service involved.

Retention periods may differ according to the type of record.

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information. No website or transmission system can guarantee absolute security, so users should also protect their passwords and notify us if they suspect unauthorized account activity.
