Website & Learning Community
Terms of Use &
Learner Agreement
Shared expectations for using The Way Institute website, learning portal, programs and educational resources.
1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Use and Learner Agreement are intended to govern access to and use of The Way Institute of Christian Educational Leadership website, learner accounts, courses, programs, assessments, certificates and related educational resources. By using services after these terms become effective, a user agrees to follow the applicable terms and published program requirements.
2. Educational Purpose
The Institute provides Christian education, leadership formation, ministry development, Religious Studies support, publications and related learning resources. Unless a specific program expressly states otherwise, Institute offerings should not be represented as government-accredited academic degrees, professional licenses or authorization to practise a regulated profession.
Program descriptions will identify the learning purpose, format, expected work and certificate or completion conditions applicable to each offering.
3. Learner Accounts and Security
Learners are responsible for providing accurate registration information, protecting their passwords and verification codes, and keeping account contact information current. Accounts may not be shared, transferred or used to provide unauthorized access to another person.
Suspected unauthorized access should be reported promptly. The Institute may temporarily restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect learners, systems or educational content.
4. Learner Conduct
Learners are expected to participate respectfully and in a manner consistent with a Christian learning community. Prohibited conduct includes harassment, threats, discriminatory abuse, deliberate disruption, impersonation, unauthorized access, malware distribution and misuse of another learner’s information.
5. Academic Integrity
Submitted work should represent the learner’s own honest effort unless collaboration is specifically authorized. Plagiarism, fabricated sources, unauthorized answer sharing, impersonation and misuse of assessment materials may result in reassessment, loss of credit, suspension or removal from a program.
Any permitted use of artificial-intelligence tools will be defined by the instructions for the relevant course or assessment. Learners remain responsible for the accuracy, originality and integrity of work submitted in their names.
6. Program Completion and Certificates
Access to a course does not automatically guarantee completion or a certificate. Learners must satisfy the stated participation, assessment, submission and completion requirements. The Institute may correct certificates containing administrative or factual errors.
7. Enrollment, Fees and Refunds
Program dates, fees, payment arrangements, available spaces, refund terms and cancellation conditions will be disclosed before enrollment or purchase. Those program-specific terms will form part of this agreement. Enrollment is not currently open.
8. Intellectual Property and Permitted Use
Unless otherwise stated, Institute lessons, recordings, assessments, graphics, publications, downloads and course materials are protected educational content. Enrolled learners may use supplied materials for their own personal study and authorized ministry or classroom participation.
Materials may not be republished, resold, uploaded publicly, systematically copied, used to train commercial systems or distributed beyond the permission granted with the relevant resource. Scripture translations, third-party readings and external media remain subject to their respective rights and permissions.
9. External Services and Links
The website and learning environment may link to or rely on external services such as hosting, learning-management, payment, video, email, bookselling and communication providers. Their services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. A link does not necessarily constitute endorsement of all external content.
10. Availability and Changes
The Institute may reasonably update content, schedules, instructors, activities, platform features or technical requirements. Temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, security, provider outages or circumstances beyond the Institute’s control. Material program changes will be communicated to affected learners when reasonably possible.
11. Suspension or Termination
Access may be restricted or terminated for serious or repeated violations of these terms, nonpayment under applicable enrollment conditions, threats to system security or conduct that materially harms the learning community. Where appropriate, the Institute may provide notice and an opportunity to respond.
12. Privacy
Information collected through the website and learning environment will be handled according to the Institute’s Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection responsibilities.
13. Disclaimers and Responsibility
Educational resources are provided for learning and formation purposes and are not a substitute for individualized legal, medical, financial, safeguarding or other regulated professional advice. Learners remain responsible for how they apply educational material in their own contexts.
14. Governing Framework
The final published agreement should identify the Institute’s legal operating entity, governing jurisdiction and dispute-resolution process after organizational and legal review. Until those details are approved, this section remains intentionally provisional.
15. Contact
Questions about these terms may be submitted through the Contact page or sent to info@thewaybibleinstitute.com once email service is fully operational.
